Life Enriched!
WHO
We are here to improve the lives and enhance the self-esteem of children in foster care across Georgia. Our focus is to improve the quality of life for families disrupted by the foster care system by providing supports and education to ensure a healthy living environment.
what
We support families managing the foster care system with services geared at restoring the home environment and provide children with a sense of normalcy until final determinations are made and families are reunified.
when
We provide supports to our families as needed and as resources are available.
how
We provide a variety of resources to build strong families and improve their quality of life. We support children who have been removed and need a sense of normalcy during this time of separation.
We advocate for children educationally, provide life experiences and support families with training and resources geared at restoration and an improved quality of life.
why
More than 12,000 children are in foster care in Georgia – since February 2021. Many times children come into foster care with little more than the clothes on their back or what they can carry in a trash bag as they’re rushed out the door. They may have never ridden a bicycle or sat down for a family meal. They may be struggling to keep up in school or never dared dream of playing a sport.
Families are disrupted and in need of support until there is a plan for reunification and restoration.
